Work from home at a work at home job or At home business Opportunity?

In this blog you'll find information about telecommuting, freelancing, virtual assistance, work at home ideas, reviews, blogging for pay and much more. If you want to earn an hourly income, I post information and resources to help you on your way. and also host workshops on virtual career training.

I use the knowledge of telecommuting, virtual assistance, and freelancing to teach others how to be full time working parents because finding legitimate work one can do at home is no small feat.

Work at home

Jobs advertised specifically as work from home positio ns tend to fall under the categories of sales, administrative, clerical, customer service and recruitment. A search on Workopolis and
LinkedIn using the key words work+from+home can get you started (the plus signs narrow your search and cut out irrelevant postings).

Opportunities are wide-ranging and include IT, graphic design, e-commerce, copywriting, translation and many more. While working from home may not be written into these job descriptions. Employers will make concessions if they're convinced you're right for the job.

Virtual Career Training Programs

I'm proud to bring you new opportunities and resources in the growing trend toward Virtual Work.

Virtual Work means stronger families (a chance for parents to spend more time with their children), a cleaner environment (reduced or eliminated commutes), and a return to community life – the wellspring of values that give us our foundation as individuals, as families, and as a society.

Women that are not working for someone else, have thought about being their own boss at some point. One of the easiest ways to become their own boss is to start a sideline business while they're working for someone else.

But how do you manage the challenges of having a job, a business and a life? What if they need help or some training to get started?. As trainer, author, newsletter publisher, confidant and “lifestyle advisor" that I've colaborated, sometimes is easy but sometimes is not.
