The purpose of Membership websites

The purpose of these sites are to create such incredibly resourceful information compiled in one place, that others think is worth paying for. Usually membership sites offer information that can be found only through their content and often it includes expert training. Many membership sites even have coaching available from authority bloggers in their niche.

While in the planning stages of your membership site it is a good idea to get advice from those who have launched successful membership sites before you. You can locate these individuals by becoming a member of Hineni's business forum. Read threads about membership sites, ask questions and be open to the suggestions of others while keeping in mind the results of your own research. Seek out other successful membership sites and explore them to see how they are set up and what tools they provide for their members. Not all sites are the same and a lot will depend on your topic and your financial resources. You can still get a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn’t by looking around at successful membership sites.

While I wouldn’t recommend starting an online business for everyone, for many people it’s one of the best ways to generate income without a job. It has certainly worked disgustingly well for me. Why do I really need a membership site?

You’ve heard for years that you need to have a membership site,
Having a membership site means that you don't have to have many business Websites to keep track of but only one site that you can have all of your products and services on.

One of the wonderful things about starting a membership site is you can take your hobby, specific experience or profession and turn it into a profitable business. Your challenge will be finding exclusive content. You can start it part time but it will likely expand into a full time business.

You do need a membership site because it gives you more stable income, allows you to price more, and gives you an easy and organized place to store your information product downloads.

Membership sites give you a stable income because you can get people to subscribe and then they are billed every single month. Whereas if you have a single payment product, they pay you once and then you have to start all over again to earn that next sale.

Having some kind of a recurring membership site adds a little bit of stability to your income. That way, you know that you might at least make $1000 this month or at least make $2000 next month and you can plan for your budget and expenses accordingly. So, membership site does add some kind of financial stability because you have a stable monthly income and you have at least a few easy monthly guaranteed sales from people who are still subscribers of your membership site.

Memberships sites also allow you to price more simply because having a protected download area is more impressive than manually emailing somebody a file or having a simple download page. When people go and get access, they have to register their own username and password, they have to log in, and this is the place where they can go and log in forever and get any kind of updates you have in the exact same place. So, it’s more impressive to have a membership site, you can add in more ongoing trainings such as bonuses and as a result, price more because you’re no longer selling an ebook or a report. You are now selling a whole course, a whole ongoing training area.

And finally, speaking of that training area, a membership site is a lot less scary when you think of it as a simple download area. Somebody pays you money, they register for an account, log in, and now, there is the download link. If they ever want to come back to it, they can. If you ever update it, they can go right back to that area. So, it makes a lot more organized for you because you just update your file in one single place and it makes it easy for your paid members because if they want to get back to that place, they simply use the lost password functionality, even if it’s two years from now, five years from now, they can always get back to that membership site.

So, you do need a membership site for those reasons. It gives you a stable income, it’s more impressive so you can charge more, and it keeps you more organized because you can put your information in a protected download area.

Now that you know why a membership site is so important, you need to get your hands on the best membership site training on the internet.

How to start a Subscription website with the lowest amount of money possible

You just need the niche or opportunity model theme
then a customized online business plan for it
proper software or platform to set up and run it

Types of membership models

There are 3 Subscription site models that most people think about when they think about membership sites.

The first model is the free subscription site or community site. There are the forums, blogs, all the different free membership sites that you see out there. They don’t cost anything to join. Lots of different My Space communities and things like that. That would fall under the category of a free membership site. You’re a member but you’re not paying anything to be there.

Model number 2 is a single pay subscription site. Now you actually don’t see this as much as you used to. And really you don’t see it as much as you should. There are a lot of people out there who are selling ebooks who really should probably be selling single pay membership sites. Instead of selling access to a product that gets downloaded, they sell access to a membership site where people consume the information online. There’s a much higher perceived value, far less refunds, things like that. All that said, if you are selling ebooks you should consider converting those ebooks to a single pay membership site.

The third model and frankly the model that we’re going to be looking at is the subscription or continuity based membership site. Obviously the best thing about this third model is that this is what brings you the recurring revenue that I’ve been talking about so far. And this is what you need if you want a $10,000 a month site from only 500 members, you need this model number 3. You need the recurring revenue and preferably monthly revenue. But it requires the right kind of market. So, let’s look at what that right kind of market is.

Understanding Money is Like Water

Money, like water, is necessary for our survival because without it, we can't function. Money is also similar to water in that it flows in and out. And just like water, we have to protect it- make sure it doesn’t leak or evaporate away. We must learn how to store it and make it grow. Once we do that, the possibilities are endless. Benjamin Franklin said, "If you want to help the poor, you can't be one of them." So, in order to do any good in the world, we must have money. Some simple things you can do to start:

-First, monitor your intake and outpour. Are you keeping a river running through your bank account, or are you building a reservoir?

-Who is looking out to protect and grow your reservoir? Are they doing a good job?

-Take the time to learn about money; read books, take seminars, meet with specialists, ask for advice from people who are smart with money... most of all, investigate!

-Have a measurable financial goal; this will keep you inspired along the way.

You can start by learning about Winning Membership Website Opportunities.

While I wouldn’t recommend starting an online business for everyone, for many people it’s one of the best ways to generate income without a job. It has certainly worked disgustingly well for me. Why start a membership site?

A membership site* is a website were people sign up as members to receive exclusive information in a niche market. People join for a selective period of time to enjoy the features and functions that only can be found at the site.
The special content which can be found only at the site which are niche market specific. These include tutorials, webinars,Audio and video clips, PLR books, live coaching sessions etc.

With membership sites you can make a monthly residual income, passive cash flow. And of course by passive I mean you build it once and you keep making money over and over again, month-after-month. Predictable and stable sources of income, that of course compared to oh if anybody out there’s tried selling ebooks. Or gosh if you’ve ever done AdSense in the past you’d know how that income can me up and down, up and down.

This is very, very predictable source of income. Very high customer value, and this is a biggy right here. I mean this is the one that I really like. It’s probably my favorite one of all. The fact that you only need a few members to make a lot of money. The fact that if you can find just 500 people to give you $20 a month that’s a 5 figure monthly income.

Now I don’t know if you realized that before you read that title on this post. But it’s kind of a groundbreaking concept. And I don’t think a lot of people have actually done the math to realize how much money you can make with so few customers.
It can be 100% outsourced and that is so vital. I’ll show you later on in this training exactly how we do that.

Membership sites are quick and easy to create especially when compared to large-scale products such as even simple ebooks but certainly compared to multi-media products and things like that. Membership sites can literally be created over the course of a weekend. And I’ll show you exactly how to create a membership website in the future post. You don’t need to be the expert or the face of the business. I’m going to write a post about the difference between being an author and a publisher. Membership sites allow you to be a publisher so you don’t have worry about being the expert.

Also, and again, this is another one of my favorite aspects: Membership sites are very, very, very sellable. When it comes to selling a business, one of the things that buyers want to see is cash flow, how much money is that business bringing in?
If it’s just a products business they’re probably not very interested. But if they know, hey over the last two years this site’s generated between $10,000 and $30,000, now that’s a site that they’re willing to buy.

But there is one downside to the membership site model that we need to address. And that is, not all markets lend themselves to our kind of membership model.
In the second part I’ll go over Winning Membership Website opportunities.

While I wouldn’t recommend starting an online business for everyone, for many people it’s one of the best ways to generate income without a job. It has certainly worked disgustingly well for me. How does a business idea turn into "reality" (1)

To begin with, make sure that the business idea is something that you truly enjoy. Entrepreneurship can be an extremely difficult task and business owners are often required to work insanely long hours just to get their business off of the ground and it would be unpleasant doing something you don't enjoy.

Secondly, the process by which an idea for a business is brought to fruition and becomes a real business is often a lengthy one. The person with the idea needs to come up with a formal business plan, raise the necessary capital required to start the business, choose a business structure, hire employees, file paperwork with the local government, implement a record-keeping system, select an accounting method, and implement the actual details of the business itself.

Third, sit down and crunch the numbers to make sure that your business idea is profitable enough to make it worthwhile. No one wants to work 80-hour work weeks for a year in realizing their business idea only to find that in practice that business earns them a paltry amount of money. Lastly or fourth, only try to turn your business idea into a realized business if you're willing to assume the risk of failure. The majority of newly founded businesses fail, which is something you'll need to keep in mind as a risk when starting your own business*.

These are other following practical steps, which will help you keep turning your big idea or dream into a reality:

- Do your research. Find out if there’s a need for your service or product.
- Study the competition. Make sure your business will work well against your competitors.
- Make a business plan and start immediately. Don’t take too long with a business plan, because it can also prevent you from actually starting your business.
- Distribute your brand and business. Find the best ways to let people know you are out there. Online marketing is cheaper than other forms of marketing, but you need to use the right channels for your business, because if no one knows about it, how are you going to sell your services or products?

Dreams and ideas are bound by no limits, but you have to apply some common sense to all your projects as well. Finding a balance between the two is the true key to business success.

While I wouldn’t recommend starting an online business for everyone, for many people it’s one of the best ways to generate income without a job. It has certainly worked disgustingly well for me. If you’re interested in learning more about this option, please check out Start Your Own Successful Online Business @ www.hinenimedia.memberlodge.org for details.

Finding a Profitable Membership Website Niche

Finding a Profitable Membership Site Topic and profiting from it

Are you interested in starting a membership site but are unsure of what your topic of the site should be? Most of us are experts at something whether that something is a recreational activity such as golfing, playing tennis,or a skilled leisure hobby such as knitting, crochet or Monogramming.

Building a membership site that would suit people's interests and people's abilities. For instance you could be someone who is good at playing poker or golf can start a membership site that teaches the sport. The site would contain valuable information about selecting the right club, swings, manufacturers, etc. The site might have articles on golfing itself or eBooks on famous golf courses. The site could sell physical products like golf balls and tees. The membership site may have a forum where fellow golfers could discuss handicaps, and golfing techniques, or golf shoes.

When designing your membership site you may decide to visit similar membership sites that are already up and running to see what they are offering so that you can make your site unique. In the above golfing example, the future membership owner may decide to read golf magazines and visit bookstores to locate current books on golfing. The owner may decide to join golfing ezines or do some social networking. All of these things will help the new owner to investigate the demand for the golfing niche and help to determine what can be done to make the new golf membership different from what is already out there.

After doing initial research the site owner will want to conduct a keyword search to be sure that, the market or niche is not already too saturated. Competition is healthy as long as the newcomer can think of something that can be offered that is better or unique.

On the other hand, make sure that your niche is not too small because the profits will not be enough.

Once you have chosen a niche and are confident that there is a big enough demand for what you have to offer you will want to decide on all of the services you will be providing to your members. You want to be different from your competition yet provide valuable information, mentorship or products.

Membership sites can offer all kinds of things to their members such as affiliate opportunities, articles, blogs, and free articles for members to reprint, discounts on products and services from third party companies, eBooks, forums for members to share information and ideas, interviews with experts in the field, seminars, software, and tutorials on the topic.

Successful membership sites are constantly adding value to the site by adding new products and services, introducing new tutorials or seminars, providing new resources or giving members new ways to communicate with each other as new technology is developed.

While I wouldn’t recommend starting an online business for everyone, for many people it’s one of the best ways to generate income without a job. It has certainly worked disgustingly well for me. Start an online business from home

Starting an online business from home is a good way to test the entrepreneurial waters while saving lots of money on overhead such as rent, utilities, insurance and more. Home work is booming. More and more people are starting online businesses every week from their homes. These range from small part-time online micro-business ventures to franchises. There is not local zoning boards to fuss about on regards to easing up on the stipulations that have prevented many living in residentially zoned areas from running an enterprise from home. Are you ready to join the boom?

First-time entrepreneurs often find it easier to start an online business from home and grow it into a full-time venture complete to later add an outside facility or office.

In North America estimates vary but about 45 million people now work from home. This statistic includes telecommuters--those workers who enjoy the flexibility and liberty of working for someone else, but working from their home office. As these home-based workers experience the joys and pleasure of working from home, they might opt for starting their own online or internet home-based business.

Start on a part-time basis and develop this business into a full-time homemade success.

Before we get into our possibilities, I'd like to outline some of the basics of running an online business from your kitchen table, garage, attic or spare bedroom. Use these basic tips to help you start your own business.

PICK A BUSINESS YOU WILL LOVE:

In searching for the right online business to start make sure you choose something that you love to do. You will be spending a lot of time making the business work, so you must enjoy what you do. There are probably business ideas that will occur to you that would do well in your community, but if you don't love that particular type of business, skip that idea and keep thinking. Find something you love to do and then figure out how to get paid to do it.

MAKE A LIST OF HOBBIES, TALENTS & INTERESTS:

In researching the type of online business you'd love to start, make a series of lists of what you're interested in and see what you're good at. Are there are common denominators? Do you like sports, pets, fixing things? What types of online businesses could you start that relate to your interests. An individual who loves parties and music might want to consider starting a Podcast DJ service or online DJ database service or a Digital Disc Jockey Equipment & Music.

Online travel business

Travel agencies thrive online. The reason is mainly because setting up a business online is less expensive as compared to building a new business offline. The latter involves hundreds to thousands of dollars before you can start the business and once you establish it, you need to deal with very expensive overhead costs. Did you know that with about $500 or even less, you can already start your online travel services business?

If you have that kind of money, you can start your travel business. A lot of people like to travel and if you’re also interested in traveling, you will have fewer problems in running the business. Firstly, you need to study the market and the demand for travel packages. You also need to consider the economy’s present condition. Today, the economy is in recession but like the experts say, it’s part of the cycle. For many years, the economy has enjoyed tremendous success or progress. The slowing down of the economy is but natural and in due time, everything will be back just the way it is. Economists assure the public that there is no need to panic. As long as they know how to manage their finances, they can live a comfortable life and can even travel for as long as they want.

There are various tools online that you can make use to carry out your advertising strategies. Handling a travel business is easy even in a recessionary economy. Just think of it this way – What is your entrepreneurial definition? if your travel business is successful during recession, then you can expect more when the economy is in boom. In due time, the economy will resume its successful state. It will not remain in the ‘down side’ forever. This is what you should be anticipating for. True enough, you will need to exert more effort during a recession since you need to attract travelers despite the economic situation. You need to convince them that this is the perfect time to have a vacation. If you have the convincing powers and you know the right business strategies, your business will surely succeed.

Travel business in a recessionary economy can work but only if you work hard. Setting up a website may seem difficult at first but with the help of some pros, you can make a very attractive and traffic-generating site. If there are more visitors in your travel business site, you can expect more clients. Study the travel industry carefully and pick the right kind of packages to offer your clients. Give yourself time to learn more about the travel business and the possible effects of recession. If you can devise a good plan to attract travelers, your business will be a success.

The Perfect Online Business Model For Internet entrepreneurs

Creating a membership site can prove to be difficult for some people, but there are tools, services, plugins, etc. that are available to help you establish one, some of which I’ll list:

Obviously because the term membership sites refer to the fact that it is exclusively restricted for the use among the members. A membership site only allows its members to surf and view the inside contents of that particular site, so you need to focus Your Membership Website Product Idea.

Focus Your Membership Website Product Idea.

Your membership website should be targeted to a specific group of readers who share very specific information needs, and are willing to pay a premium price for that information.

Get a Membership Website Product Opportunity.

Arm with one of these options you know that the paid membership sites charge a nominal fee from the viewers who wish to be a member of that particular site. These fees are usually charged on a monthly basis. But there are sites, which have six months’ subscription offer. It depends up on the regulation of the websites.
Membership sites offer various kinds of quality information to its subscribers. It also provides information, which the members cannot find elsewhere and will also search anything on the web if the topic for research is provided. There are innumerable membership sites, which offer variety of services to its members.

Some of these membership sites contain useful articles or information in a particular field or product or service and some publish the results of various tests and studies, while some membership sites provide access to web libraries or online libraries and other sites reference information. There are also some sites, which contain reviews, and there are some membership sites that act as a meeting place for like-minded people like the dating sites.

The question may arise to some people that why should one pay for one of these sites. Well, the reason for paying is getting the best of all information. These websites provide specialized information, which the user would not be able to find anywhere on the web. I'm in charge of a Membership Website Set up, Profit, and Management. It's quality information, products and services that they simply can’t get elsewhere.

There are users who pay for magazines, newspapers, books, clubs, and various other entertainment sites. So, users can also subscribe to these membership sites, which offer unique services and products and specialized information.
Membership sites make a great business model for an entrepreneur. While thinking of building up a membership site the entrepreneur must decide if he wants to build up a free membership site or a paid one. Paid membership sites are most usually limited to a specific number of members. But the information and services remain special in these sites and thus it is necessary to limit the members. But free membership sites are easy to set up and easy to operate as well.

While setting up a membership site the entrepreneur must provide the viewers with timely fresh contents. If it is a free site then there should be the option of upgrade from free membership to a paid membership. A free membership site guarantees a long list of potential members. The site can earn through advertisements, as it will be available to everyone. Free membership sites are easy to run as they cost almost nothing to run, and yet the entrepreneur will have an almost unlimited number of customers and potential customers to market all kinds of products and services.
On the other hand, paid membership sites are a great way to generate passive income. Entrepreneurs who are looking for prospective customers for their products or services can set up paid sites, which will generate income and as well build up a list of prospective customers. Since it will be a paid site there will be the best group of the customers. And thus it will be easier to market products to these customers, whereas, in a free site the group may not contain the best customers.

What Information Designers really do?

What Information Designers really do?

Information Design or ID

Definition: Information designer strives to empower by helping one learn new concepts, make decisions, and achieve goals. Information design is concerned with content, function, clarity, legibility, readability and effectiveness as it is with quality formalism and visual language. It works hand and hands with web architecture which deals with web strategy, interface design and information architecture.

Information design(ID)--in it's simplest form--does not seek to influence the end users emotions. It is a visual language that speaks to the brain, not to the heart.

What information designers really do?.

Information Designers make information accessible and easy to digest, and visualizes information in a way that is engaging to be read, studied and thoughtfully considered. Information design is more about simplification than anything. It comes down to eliminating anything which distracts from the real purpose: passing on content.

•Convert strategy documents and research into actionable briefs, sitemaps, wireframes, flow diagrams, and user journeys.

•Work closely with creative and strategy peers as a critical link in the development process, as a careful translator and liaison.

•Generate professional, clear, and concise documentation.

•Write carefully crafted and red tape cutting emails.

•Create experience.

You can, of course, combine information design with other types of design.

Information design is a great way to combine ones love of art and design, learning(and imparting learning to others) and interest in the human mind(for instance I have seen that cognitive psychology is a component?).

How does someone apply their information design education, skills and techniques? for instance I work as membership manager, so I plan, design, install, configure and maintain technology solutions that support membership website business owner's needs.
I'm in charge of creating, getting and uploading quality information, products and services that they simply can’t get elsewhere.

As Online editor and Infopreneur one of my business's activity is gathering and selling electronic information. My firm acquires, develops, publishes, translates and markets informative content that is part of their information services. Hineni Media also developes, markets, produces, and distributes content. Thus being in the publishing industry.

Information Design's mission:

The mission of information design through web archicteture goes beyond the artifact and attempts to bring order to chaos, to eliminate or vastly reduce waste and inefficiency. The aims are to improve the quality of daily life for people by improving the range of means for visual and verbal communication, the exchange, storage, retrieval and use of pertinent and useful information that has substance, integrity, benefit and consequence.

I'm an Bilingual Information Designer,Info-Preneuer and Facilitator -- it's my job to research, analize, organize, write and publish the information you need. Be up to date on emerging technology and usability research, understand web analytics, best practices and have working knowledge of Search and SEO as I also do the majority of blog and website updates and maintenance. Lucky me I have an online part-time assistant, Wendy, who helps me with membership items on the site.
